Lane V Rogers, who went by the stage name Blake Mitchell, has died at the age of 31.

On Monday the popular OnlyFans creator was killed in a grisly motorcycle accident in Oxnard, which is between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, according to TMZ.

The 31-year-old was driving his motorcycle down a road just before 4 pm when he plowed into a box truck, the site reported after talking to a family member who is still in shock over the sudden passing.

The driver of the truck stopped to check on Rogers and stayed with him until paramedics arrive.

The star was pronounced dead on the scene.

A week before his death he looked back at his life and expressed having no regrets over his career. 'Frankly I'd still do it all again … with some changes haha,' he wrote on Instagram on December 11.

Rogers often talked on social media about his rise in the adult entertainment world.

'February of 2014, I did my first webcam show,' Rogers recalled during an April 2023 episode of the Back To Your Story podcast.

'I wasn't the porn star I am today. I wasn't, like, "I'm comfortable [and] I'll go in and f*** anybody.: It was really raw and real.'

Rogers' first videos took off fast.

'I was like, "OK, there's something here,"' he said of becoming an adult entertainer.

'Through most of 2014, I'm doing cam shows, but with webcamming and, nowadays, OnlyFans, it's very up and down unless you're really steady with it,' he added.

'I'm finally making good money [at the time]. I'm making thousands a month, and one month we made $10,000 when I was 18.'

After he split from his boyfriend he changed his career.

'My favorite gay porn studio at the time hit me up … which was validating in a way,' he recalled. 'This was the point of my life where I was, like, 'I could really make a choice here.' [The guy I was dating] was going to college, I [thought I] could go get my GED and go to college, and I could probably put away this webcam thing and most people would never know.'

He said it was a rocky start. 'It was a f***ing nightmare, dude, it went horrible,' he said of his pornography debut.

'That's what was crazy to me and where I realized, 'This is all perception and how people are perceiving this, not necessarily how it actually went.' My first scene took two 12-hour days to film [because] I could not get hard. I was so scared.'

Next he looked to make more money with his OnlyFans account.

'I just suddenly felt a real impetus to be working as hard as possible to do as much as possible and to experience and accomplish and that's when I decided to start an OnlyFans,' he said.

A week before his death he looked back at his life and expressed having no regrets over his career. 'Frankly I'd still do it all again … with some changes haha,' he wrote on Instagram on December 11

'Of course, that went well. From there, that's when I moved to L.A., so I could be around more performers and do more work. That's when I started really winning awards.'

He also said he was very ambitious.

'I wrote in all caps, 'What kind of man do you want to be remembered as' [and taped it to my refrigerator],' Rogers said.

'That is the question that drives basically every decision that I do and make. … When you do leave this earth, that's all you leave behind is a legacy. Everything else goes and you can't take anything with you.

'The only thing you can hold onto is a legacy about yourself and that's what people will remember. Everything that I do is predicated on that question.'
