Fans are SHOCKED by how young Cher, 79, looks in SNL promo with Ariana Grande and Bowen Yang

Cher left fans in total shock with her seemingly ageless appearance as she starred alongside Ariana Grande in a new Saturday Night Live promo video.

The 79-year-old music legend will serve as musical guest for the NBC show's December 20 episode while Grande, 32, is set to host for her third time.

In a clip posted to Instagram on Thursday, Cher towered over Grande and SNL star Bowen Yang, 35, in a glitzy blue blouse as they performed a series of skits at Studio 8H.

With her taut, wrinkle-free complexion, luscious long black hair and skinny waistline, Cher looked almost as young as her thirty-something co-stars.

Fans flocked to the comment section of Saturday Night Live's post to react to Cher's youthful look. 

'Can we just talk about how Cher is SEVENTY-NINE years old and still looks like a goddess???' one shocked fan posted to Instagram.

Another added: 'Cher does not age'

Many Cher fans jokingly called her a 'vampire' while others remarked that the star was somehow 'aging backwards.'

However, Cher's ageless appearance is not a product of the supernatural.

The icon has been candid over the years about turning to plastic surgery to maintain and enhance her beauty.

She has admitted to a handful of procedures, including a face lift, a breast augmentation and a rhinoplasty.

Cher famously made her face lift confession to Mail on Sunday back in 2018.

'Yes, I have had a facelift, but who hasn't?' she said.

Cher's upcoming SNL appearance marks her second time as musical guest.

She last performed on the Studio 8H stage nearly 40 years ago in 1987.

The singer notably made a cameo in the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special, which aired back in February of this year.

In Thursday's promo video, Cher hilariously stage slapped both Ariana Grande and SNL's Bowen Yang as the pair marveled at the icon's presence.

'Am I dreaming?' Bowen asked before being 'slapped' by Cher, who then yelled, 'Snap out of it!'

Grande and Yang then turned to one another and excitedly said in unison, 'Cher just slapped us!'

In the next promo skit, Cher told Grande and Yang that she 'brought gifts' for them. 

'What is it?' Yang asked, to which Cher replied with a smile, 'My presence.' 

Cher's SNL gig comes just one week after she broke rumors on whether or not she will wed her boyfriend, 39-year-old Alexander 'AE' Edwards.

The music megastar, who has been married twice before, is not in the process of planning a wedding to Edwards after three years of dating, despite conflicting reports.

A spokesperson for Cher told Gossip List: 'There is absolutely no plans for a wedding in her future.'

Instead of wedding planning Cher is opting to focus on other things, including a Christmas single.
