Tia Mowry addressed rumors of a 'rift' with her Napa-based identical twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley after admitting she 'wished' they 'were still close' on her WeTV reality show My Next Act last year.
From ages 15 through 20, the 47-year-old former child stars headlined the successful sitcom Sister, Sister - which aired for six seasons spanning 1994-1999 on ABC and The WB.
'She's just not as accessible as [she] used to be,' Tia told ET on Tuesday.
'I think everybody thought that there was this huge rift or distance, and that was not the case. So, it was new for everyone else, but it wasn't new for us.'
The My Secret Santa actress stressed that 'family is really important to' them, and they'll make it a 'priority' to be there for each other.
'My sister and I, we've made a pact that we will reach out to each other once a week and that's on Sundays,' Tia explained.

'Sometimes it's just, you know, a text. But as long as we check in and we talk to each other, you know, that's what we do. You know, [but] the world doesn't know that that's what we do.'
In October, the Mowry Sisters took a work trip to Manhattan - just the two of them - where they got to shop, taste wine, visit coffee shops and eat ramen at their favorite Japanese restaurant Ippudo.
'It was lovely,' Tia gushed.
'We had done, like, this cute little commercial together and that was the first time we
had done a job, I want to say maybe since 12 or 13 years ago. So it was a lot of fun. It felt like, you know, time didn't really pass.'
The biracial beauties reunited yet again in LA for the Thanksgiving holiday with their two brothers Tahj and Tavior, father Timothy and mother Darlene.
The prior day, the Mowry clan enjoyed a fun-filled day together at Disneyland Park and California Adventure in Anaheim, CA where they rode attractions like the Grizzly River Run.
'It just felt like we were just kids again, you know, just getting on all of the rides,' Tia gushed.
'And then not only that, I think what really stood out for me was seeing all of the kids, you know, get together.'
However, the German-born Army Brats will be spending Christmas apart.
